Botox^®

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, non-surgical,  treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people from 18 to 65 years of age. It is the only treatment of its type approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Chin Augmentation

Chin surgery, also known as mentoplasty, is a surgical procedure to reshape the chin either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery on the bone. Many times a plastic surgeon may recommend chin surgery to a patient having nose surgery in order to achieve facial proportion, as the size of the chin may magnify or minimize the perceived size of the nose. Chin surgery helps provide a harmonious balance to your facial features so that you feel better about the way you look.

Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Lifts)

Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to correct drooping upper eyelids and puffy bags below the eyes by removing excess fat, skin, and muscle. (Occasionally insurance will cover the cost of upper eyelid surgery if excess tissue obscures vision.) Eyelid surgery is performed on men and women of all ages to minimize the effects of aging as well as to correct certain inherited traits. Candidates for this procedure include men and women with excess skin that hides the natural fold of upper and/or lower eyelids, circles under the eyes, and excess skin and fine wrinkles in the lower eyelids.

Facelift

Facelift is a surgical procedure designed to smooth the loose skin on the facial skin, jowls, and neck in both men and women. Candidates for a facelift include those of us with deep lines or folds (nasolabial folds) running from the corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth, loss of a well-defined jawline, deep wrinkles in the cheeks, and loose skin, wrinkles, and 'cords' or excess fat in the neck. In this procedure, underlying tissues are tightened, excess fat is removed, and the skin is gracefully re-draped for a natural and more youthful appearance.

Facial Implants

Cheek and Chin Implants are used to change the shape and balance of the face. They can restore balance to a receding chin, add prominence to cheekbones, or reshape the jawline. Implants come in a variety of shapes and sizes designed to create a natural appearance. Some patients chose to have facial implants alone, while other patients combine the insertion of implants with other facial rejuvenation procedures.

Forehead/Brow Lift

Forehead-Brow Lift is a surgical procedure done to minimize forehead creases, drooping eyebrows, hooding over the eyes, a furrowed forehead, and frown lines that create a perpetually tired, sad, or angry look. This procedure corrects the sagging or low position of the eyebrows by removing excess tissue, altering muscles, and tightening the forehead skin that can be accomplished through a standard (coronal) or endoscopic procedure. Although often performed to treat conditions associated with aging changes, browlift also is done on younger adults who have deep frown lines or overactive muscles.

Injectables/Injectable Fillers

Used to treat facial lines and wrinkles such as forehead lines, frown lines, crow's feet, and lines around the neck, BOTOX® Cosmetic is the registered product name for Botulinum toxin, Type A. Botulinum toxin is produced by a bacterium known as "clostridium botulinum", and is normally responsible for causing the bacterial infection known as botulism. However, in small doses, botulinum toxin can be used safely to reduce the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles. In addition, botulinum toxin has been shown to be an effective method for treating other conditions, such as migraines, excessive sweating, and muscle spasms, among others. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring complex sugar molecule that forms large matrices in the connective tissue of the body, such as skin and cartilage. Much like a sponge, its primary function is to bind and absorb water molecules, which creates volume in the face. Hyaluronic acid fillers are generally used to treat facial wrinkles and folds and to enhance the appearance of the lips. One of the fastest growing dermal filler treatments available, hyaluronic acid fillers work by replacing the hyaluronic acid in the body that has depleted over time, which restores the volume beneath the skin's surface.

Injectable fillers are one of the most popular facial rejuvenation techniques. As we age, the underlying tissues that keep our skin looking youthful and firm begin to break down due to the effects of gravity, sun exposure, diet, genetic factors, and years of facial muscle movement. Over time these factors contribute to the development of lines, wrinkles, and folds in the face.

Laser Resurfacing

Laser Resurfacing addresses the problems of facial wrinkles, uneven pigmentation and blotchiness, age spots, and certain scars. The procedure can lighten and resurface sun-damaged and wrinkled skin by removing the top layers so that new, healthier skin can emerge. While chemical peels use a caustic solution, laser resurfacing involves the use of a computer-controlled laser beam to vaporize skin rather than with chemicals. Some people can also benefit from the laser's tightening ability, especially on the lower eyelid and perioral (around the mouth) areas.

Lower Face/Neck Lift

An individual's identity is often primarily determined by the face--its structure, overall appearance, and expressions. As such, age-related changes that can alter the appearance of the face may make an individual feel as if their identity has changed over time. Changes can occur in the upper, mid, and lower portions of the face; however, changes to the lower third of the face are often the most readily apparent. These changes may include the development of deep lines in the cheeks and around the mouth, loose, excess skin in the cheeks, jaw line, and neck, and banding around the neck. Most often performed on individuals ranging from forty five to fifty five years of age, a lower facelift can help to reduce the appearance of deep facial wrinkles, sagging jowls, and sagging and banding in the neck, restoring a firmer, more youthful appearance.

Mid Face Lift/Cheek Lift

An individual's identity is often primarily determined by the face--its structure, overall appearance, and expressions. As such, age-related changes that can alter the appearance of the face may make an individual feel as if their identity has changed over time. Changes can occur in the upper, mid, and lower portions of the face; however, changes to the middle region of the face can often occur earlier than changes to the lower face. These changes may include loss of volume and sagging of the cheeks, as well as the development of deep wrinkles and hollow areas below the lower eyelids. Often appropriate for individuals who have not yet experienced sagging in the lower face, a mid facelift can help to reduce these signs of aging, restoring a firmer, more youthful appearance.

Ear Correction (Otoplasty)

Ear Correction (Otoplasty) is a surgical procedure designed to set prominent ears back closer to the head, or to reduce the size of large ears. It also can be done to the head or to correct ear anomalies that result in a disfiguring or unacceptable appearance. Although most often done on school-aged children, adults who have suffered since childhood due to the size and appearance of their ears can also benefit from this procedure.

Nose reshaping (Rhinoplasty)

Nose reshaping, or rhinoplasty, is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures performed today. Often, the structure or size of the nose is not proportionate with the other features on the face. Nose reshaping procedures can help to correct the disproportionate appearance of the nose by altering the size or shape of the nose, the span of the nostrils, or the angle between the nose and the upper lip. In addition, nose reshaping procedures may be performed to correct a nasal birth defect or injury as well as chronic breathing problems. It is important to realize that individuals considering a nose reshaping procedure should be at least fifteen years of age, as this procedure should only be performed after the nose has finished developing completely.
